Review: The Great Night, Chris Adrian
Posted in 3 Stars, Heard about from the internets, tagged A Midsummer Night's Dream, all my plot summaries want to end with "and things go on from there" because I'm never sure where it stops being a synopsis and starts being spoilers so I get super vague about it, Chris Adrian, I have seen three productions of A Midsummer Night's Dream and have not been satisfied with any of them, I read this a really long time ago and I'm sorry it took me so long to review it, lovely Patrick Ness also likes Chris Adrian so there's that to consider, magical realism? is that what this is? R. Martin, haven't read A Dance with Dragons yet, I don't like Brienne! I like her stuff with Jaime but I don't like her herself, I hear one of the Dornishmen goes a-questing to marry Daenerys but I don't think I'll remember who he is when he shows up, I told you so about Snape, I wasn't wrong about Snape, I'm not wrong about Sansa, I'm right about Sansa, if I am wrong about Sansa you'll forget I ever said anything, Sansa will save the day SAVE THE DAY YES SHE WILL on July 20, 2011 | 27 Comments »

Martin’s writing does not make my heart sing, nor do his characters possess the depth and intricacy of, say, Chaim Potok’s. But my stars, the man can handle the plot. [...]
